📖 Logline

Facing the end of his life, a father burdened by regret enters a viral poker game where six broken contestants each believe they’ve found the angle that will win them the jackpot. But in a spectacle watched by millions, as long as there’s entertainment, there are no rules.

🎭 About the Project

Flop, Turnover & Die is a character-driven thriller exploring redemption, exploitation, and the moral compromises people make to gain an edge. Set in a morally bankrupt online spectacle, six strangers collide with conflicting values and ambitions, willing to cheat, manipulate, and play dirty in pursuit of a £1M prize.

We’re seeking actors excited by complex, emotionally rich characters and ensemble storytelling. Roles demand strong range and intensity, blending grounded drama with dark comedy, sharp dialogue, and explosive conflict.

Pol – Lead

Male | 30–60 | Any Ethnicity Terminally ill, burdened by regret. Shaggy, anxious, sarcastic, yet deeply observant. A role balancing vulnerability, dark humour, and explosive emotion.

Marco – Supporting Lead

Male | 30–60 | Any Ethnicity Immaculately dressed club owner. Proud, fragile, desperate to create memories for his wife before Alzheimer’s takes her away. Calculated and quietly dangerous.

Ruth – Supporting Lead

Female | 18–25 | Any Ethnicity Tough ex-convict, rebellious, clever, fiercely independent. Abrasive exterior hides longing for connection and reinvention.

Maxx!! – Supporting Lead

Any Gender | 25–40 | Any Ethnicity Charismatic host of the MAXX! Channel. Charming, theatrical, unsettling. Equal parts showman and manipulator.

Kiddo – Supporting

Male | 25–40 | Any Ethnicity Failed boxer, loud, flashy, insecure. Craves attention but struggles with control.

Denni – Supporting

Any Gender | 25–40 | Any Ethnicity Former children’s TV personality. Funny, unpredictable, masking addiction and regret with humour.
