About Me:
Clemence Debaig is a dance artist, plus-size model, designer and creative technologist. She is particularly interested in bringing more diversity into the industry, including older faces and different body shapes.
Clemence has a background as a dancer. She is trained in contemporary, jazz and commercial. She has performed for various dance companies such as HuMo, StreamMovement, and Atelier du Lampadaire and has experience on camera for dance films and music videos. This gives her excellent body awareness and much experience following directions and collaborating with directors and other artists.
Besides her modelling activities, Clemence is the artistic director of Unwired Dance Theatre, a dance company working at the intersection of dance and technology. She is also a lecturer and researcher at Goldsmiths University, specialising in motion capture and digital embodiment.
Clemence is a French-born artist living in London. She is bilingual in English and French and can also speak Spanish.
