About Me:
I am keen to be seen as an inspirational 50+ female, as I write poetry and have read my poems at open mic sessions. I play a surdo drum in a samba band and love performing at carnivals. I am attending a beginners acting course in the autumn in Liverpool. I have a campervan and enjoy travelling.
These are all pursuits I have taken up in the last two years and I am eager to open up to more creative outlets. In the past I have sang in a choir, learned many dances including sequence, belly and line dancing. I have worked with animals including reptiles, amphibians, insects, skunks, chinchillas, snails and cockroaches. I also enjoy being in water and experiencing cold climates in preference to hot.
I have a BA and a BSc.
I have ears, nose and belly button piercings and a small tattoo on my torso.
I wear glasses and have long hair, which I am open to having styled or dyed in any way. I generally wear no make-up other than eyeliner.
I am a positive and smiley person and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, and listening to their life stories. I have worked within caring services, with people from all ethnic backgrounds; with physical and learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Hence, I am comfortable in the company of people from diverse backgrounds and all types of animals, if I am required to work alongside such a variety of colleagues.
