UK Productions – Local Talent Call Principal Ensemble with Principal Cover Roles Thursday, May 7, 2026

Eligibility

• Must live within 25 miles of the venue.
• Dancers aged 16 or over (completed GCSEs, over licensing age).
• Strong ballet and jazz technique required.
• Acting and vocal skills needed for covering principal roles.

Audition Details

Venue: The Ballroom, The Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth

Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026

Schedule:

• 11:30 AM – Arrival & Warm-up
• 12:00 PM – Principal Ensemble Audition

Criteria

• Role: Ensemble, with potential to cover principal roles.
• Dance audition: Routine taught on the day. Bring heels.
• Acting/vocal: Prepare a Disney song (backing track on iPod/iPhone/MP3).
• May be asked to read sides (script).
• Must be available for rehearsals and performances:
  • Rehearsals: Start Monday, November 23, 2026
    • Week 1: 10 AM – 6 PM (including Saturday)
    • Week 2 (production week): 10 AM – 10 PM
  • Performances: Saturday, December 5, 2026 – Sunday, January 3, 2027
• No time off permitted during rehearsals.
• Fees vary depending on age.
• Travel/relocation not included.
