BUSK was created to provide meaningful paid employment for early-career artists. We particularly encourage applications from dancers within their first five years of professional dance careers. This timeframe is a guide, and we welcome applicants at a comparable career stage, recognising career changes, breaks and different routes into the profession. There is no upper age limit.
We are an equal opportunities employer and believe dance and storytelling are strengthened by different backgrounds, identities and experiences. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, including artists from the Global Majority and other underrepresented ethnic backgrounds; Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists; LGBTQIA+ artists; and those from working-class or lower-income backgrounds. We particularly encourage artists who have faced barriers to professional opportunities.
Applicants will be assessed fairly against the published requirements of the role. We will make reasonable adjustments throughout recruitment and employment. Please contact [email protected] to discuss access requirements or alternative application formats.
Auditions will take place in London between late September – early October.
