Casting Breakdown

Seeking: Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and union affiliations to portray male- and female-identifying roles. Celebrity Cruises encourages gender diverse and color-conscious casting. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds, gender identities, and abilities are encouraged to apply.

Vocalists

• Powerhouse vocalists with stamina in pop/rock, R&B, rap, and contemporary musical theatre.
• Female-identified roles: strong mix/belt to F5, legit to C6.
• Male-identified roles: bari-tenors to G4, tenors up to B4 with strong falsetto.
• Must move well.

Female Roles (F1–F4, Josephine, Madame Zazel, Ascent Eden)

• F1: Pop/Rock Belter, powerhouse soul, confident mover.
• F2: Quirky leading lady, pop vocals, confident mover.
• F3: Legit soprano with pop belt, radiant presence.
• F4: Charismatic actor/vocalist, powerhouse soul, strong mover.
• Named roles include Josephine (“Mama Jo”), Madame Zazel, and Ascent Eden.

Male Roles (M1–M4, Billy Fleischer, Ziggy Lockhart, Ascent Eden)

• M1: Bold tenor, powerhouse vocals, confident mover.
• M2: Charismatic baritenor, strong pop/rock vocals, confident mover.
• M3: Character baritenor, comedic timing, drag comfort, RP accent.
• M4: Charismatic actor/vocalist, versatile pop/rock style.
• Named roles include Billy Fleischer, Ziggy Lockhart, and Ascent Eden.

Theatrical Production Dancers

• Fit, athletic, technically trained in jazz, ballet, contemporary, commercial, tap, partnering.
• Strong acting skills required.
• Male-identifying dancers: 5’8–6’1 preferred, strong physique, lifts, gymnastics/tap a plus.
• Female-identifying dancers: 5’4–5’8 preferred, lean silhouettes, 3″ heels, gymnastics/tap a plus.

Eden Dancers & Dancer-Aerialists

• Male-identifying dancers: 5’8–6’1 preferred, strong tap, lifts, acting skills.
• Female-identifying dancers: 5’0–5’8 preferred, lean silhouettes, 3″ heels, gymnastics/tap a plus.
• Minnie: Female dancer, 5’0–5’3, strong partnering/acting, aerial hoop/tap a plus.
• Alice: Female dancer-aerialist, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, strong acting, aerial silks required.

What to Bring

Vocalists

• Current headshot and CV.
• Prepared vocal audition packet.
• 16 bars (Pop/Rock preferred) in proper key; repertoire book if asked.
• Accompanist provided.
• Movement recall: form-fitting dance attire.
• Female-identifying vocalists: 3″ dance heels.
• Male-identifying vocalists: character/jazz shoes.

Dancers

• Form-fitting dance attire.
• Tap shoes for improv tap jam or combination.
• Prepared for tumbling (acro) if applicable.
• Male-identifying roles: dance sneakers/jazz shoes.
• Female-identifying roles: choreography in 3″ heels.
