About Me:
Originally from Bermuda, I’m an energetic and fun-loving sporty geek who enjoys daily gym sessions, dance, martial arts, adventure travel, science fiction film/books and gaming. I also love to ski, play tennis, camping & hiking when the weather permits. I’m often found at Comic Con cosplaying a few of my favourite Star Trek characters.
I currently work in IT at a large biomedical research institute, using my data skills to support the advancement of disease research. My self-confidence, discipline, adaptability and desire to learn have allowed me to do well in an eclectic mix of hobbies and jobs. My 19+ years as a dance teacher and performer have allowed me to be at ease in front of a crowd and camera, as well as carrying out precise directions from choreographers and stage managers. I’ve been told that I “light up the room” and I definitely use this as an advantage when I enter spaces where I’m unknown.
