About Me:

As a young girl I knew I wanted to live an eclectic and adventurous life; inspired by my Mum’s travel stories around Australia Malaysia and Singapore, and my Dad’s adventurous, hippy tendencies. I grew up amongst the green fields of North Wales and spent many happy days trampling through forests and making dens. As a teen I swam competitively, representing North Wales in national competitions and was British Juvenile Triathlon Champion in 1994.

In 2003 I graduated from Birmingham University with a BSc in Biology, and soon after I began my travelling life, first visiting Australia then Malaysia, South America and more recently South East Asia. In 2007 I completed my PGCE teaching qualification, and worked in Wales as a biology teacher for 8 years. In 2015 I left to do my ‘Eat Pray Love’ year, visiting India, Bali, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

After returning to the U.K. and teaching in London, I was offered a teaching job in Bangkok, Thailand which I readily accepted. Thailand is my second home and I lived there for almost 5 years in total.

I am passionate about health and in 2021 I re trained as a nutritionist; studying an MSc at the University of Surrey. I now run my own business ‘Natural Nutrition’ and help clients to heal their bodies from metabolic disease symptoms using dietary and lifestyle changes.

I have practiced yoga since 2000 and became a yoga teacher in 2018. I am deeply spiritual, having studied energy healing (Reiki) and becoming a reiki master in 2020. My daily morning practice includes meditation and yoga; I regarding this as intrinsic to my health and contentment. I love to cook and create recipes for my friends and family, as well as the clients I have the privilege to work with.

My style is a mixture of western-bohemian, having had a multitude of influences, in particular during my time living in the community on Koh Phangan, Thailand. I have always been an advocate for natural beauty, wear minimal make up and know that beauty begins on the inside. My sunny and positive demeanour has earned me the nickname ‘Samshine’; I spread good vibes and laughter wherever I go and enjoy making others feel good.

Through doing ‘the work’ on myself I have developed deep self confidence and understanding of what makes me happy. Modelling is an opportunity for me to gain exposure so I can influence others to live a healthy and vibrant life. As a role model, my purpose is to show other women that accepting themselves as they are is the post precious gift they can give themselves and leads to a contented and beautiful life.
