Sam Ahulu

About Me: As stated above, my name is Sam. I am a 75-year old African originally from Ghana (in West Africa), who has been in the UK since September 1987, when I went to the University of Oxford, where I obtained the master’s degree in English philology. I became the first person to be awarded the PhD degree in English and Applied Linguistics by Cambridge University in 1993. Unfortunately, before I could proceed with an academic career, I was diagnosed with cancer whilst I was on a life support machine. Although everybody who sees me says that I look good for my age, what very few people know is that I have been on active chemotherapy for an incurable form of cancer for the past twenty years. So, I can say that I thick every box for whatever is good in life at my age. I am, therefore, passionate about modelling, I enjoy photography, and I have a strong interest in fashion and the creative art. A couple of months ago, I went to s studio where I had a test photo shoot, and I believe everyone was pleased with the result. I would now like to embark on a modelling career, and I am happy to start with a bit of everything in modelling, photography, the television, film, commercial adverts, fashion, and the creative arts. In fact, everything that is available, What I believe makes my case special, and puts me above everyone else, is that I shall be combining everything I do with my ongoing chemotherapy for cancer. I believe people from all kinds of background would be inspired by me.
