About Me:
With a confident, approachable presence and a passion for movement and self-expression, I bring a unique blend of discipline, warmth, and life experience. My ability to adapt to different styles and environments—paired with a distinctive look and a natural ease in social settings—makes me well-suited for this role.
I come from a professional background in healthcare, having worked as a nurse and later as Managing Director of two travel clinics specializing in vaccinations and travel medicine. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I returned to frontline nursing, supporting critical care teams at Papworth Hospital in Cambridge and later contributing to vaccination efforts across the Welsh valleys. I was recently invited to share these experiences in an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Born in Ghana and a lifelong traveler, I recently explored the Mekong River—an adventure that ended with a memorable hospital stay in Saigon, where I found the healthcare impressively efficient. Now retired and living in Wales after many years in Cambridge, I embrace the slower pace and enjoy the landscape and hills that surround me.
Outside of work, I remain very active. I dance Ceroc two to three times a week and take part in Zumba classes. For nearly a decade, I’ve been a dedicated open water swimmer, particularly drawn to quiet rivers where I can enjoy the beauty of nature. I also enjoy traveling in my motorhome with my dog, spending weekends on the coast, and losing myself in a good book.
