About Me:
My name is Neil, and I’m turning 54 in March. I have four grown children, and I have recently separated from their mother. As a result, I now live on my own. I am the youngest of four children, with two sisters and a brother.
I used to work in a food company, primarily involved in making hot powdered drinks. However, I had to stop working recently because I am no longer able to perform my job. The DWP has deemed me unfit for this work due to a disability, although it is unseen. I experience pains in my legs from when I fell ill in 2017.
This change in my circumstances has left me with more free time. When my children were younger, they occupied most of my time, and my main hobby became their hobby, which is rugby league, both watching and playing. Now, living on my own, I’ve developed an interest in cooking. I’ve started cooking more and enjoy learning new recipes and trying new flavors.
I also find pleasure in watching movies, particularly action, comedy, family, and animations from companies like DreamWorks and Pixar. Since finishing work, I’ve started doing more walking. When I was with my family, we would often go to the lakes for the Christmas lights switch-on and explore new walks. With the additional time on my hands, I’m considering taking up reading as a pastime.
I have a fondness for music, having been born in the ’70s. While I generally listen to rock music, especially early bands like AC/DC, my taste expanded when I heard “Cold Cold Heart” by Elton John and Dua Lipa. Considering everything I’ve been through, this song resonated with me, and now, at the age of 54, I can’t get enough of Dua Lipa. I find her amazing, admiring how effortlessly she handles photos, her confidence, and personality. I’ve become quite captivated by her, and I hope that one day I’ll have the chance to meet her. I’ve observed her during photoshoots and learned from her; she makes modeling look so natural.
