About Me:
Recently I took part in a catwalk for International Women’s Day on 8 Mar as I was one of 10 Women Warriors who had faced cancer. We had to discuss our journeys. It was a fashion brunch at Marriott Hotel. It was a buzz I felt during the catwalk.The beautiful clothes were of Asian origin and I felt so proud.
I have also noticed there is a lack of South Asian older models in the general advertisements, including tv , magazines, catalogues and such. So
Here I am hoping to address this issue if given an opportunity. Actually I do feel driven to tackle this. By nature I am friendly and a caring person and committed to my responsibilities.
Until Covid, I looked after my 2 grandchildren full time which was a pleasure and joy. However, I feel I am ready for a new challenge. I have taken part as an extra for TV, movie n advertisement.
