About Me:
Hi, I’m Lydia. Currently a preclinical medicine student at the University of Oxford using modelling to keep myself sane and continue to explore different styles. I love to express myself through fashion and am currently teaching myself to sew. Growing up I would have about seven outfit changes a day, and if I saw something pink or fluffy or sparkly in a shop window I absolutely needed it in my wardrobe. Now I’m more of a black nails than a ‘ballet-slipper-pink’ girl, but I still love trying out different aesthetics and will never settle on one. For me it’s like speaking different languages and I love to adopt different moods and characters through modelling. I got into modelling through starting my own vintage/ second hand clothing business – I found that items sold more when I modelled the clothing, and I really enjoy composing outfits and backgrounds to sell the items. I’m really into sustainable and vintage fashion and you can find me raiding my mum’s wardrobe for vintage scarves and dresses all the time.
