About Me:
Growing up, I was in awe of the beautiful people I saw on the television. I never thought I would be capable of being a model, or to act on screen. I have never had the stereotypical body of a model. I have always been curvy and I used to feel embarrassed by this. I would receive attention from older men which made me uncomfortable and I have had to learn how to handle myself in those situations. People at school would tease me for the size of my lips and the size of my bottom. Around the age of thirteen, I dedicated myself to my afterschool sports clubs, where I would compete in Fencing, Badminton, and Squash. I continued this until the end of my final year at secondary school.

When I attended college, I had wonderful friends and I was happy and confident. I assisted my friends with their Media Make-up projects, modelling for their portfolios and walking in their production shows. When I went to university, I didn’t think too much about the industry, as I was enjoying my first year. Following my first year, I decided to leave university, as I thought it was the best thing to do at that time.

I ended up working at Lidl for almost two years, starting in February of 2020. It was very busy working throughout COVID, which meant that the time flew by for me. I was not thinking about a career in front of the camera at this point, as I was looking for a more stable role, with a better income. Following my application, I joined Wiltshire Police in March of 2022. Following my completion of the six months initial training, I began my tutorship for the Police Constable role. On 12th December 2022 I was involved in a car accident, as I fell victim to Black Ice on the roads. I broke my back in three places (T1, T2, and T3), and I broke my wrist. My recovery was painful and it has taken me a long time to feel like my old self. I have gained weight, particularly on my arms, face, and mid-section, and this has shifted my confidence.

I came across an advertisement on Instagram for ‘New Idol Model’. I follow Ashley Graham, who is a curvy model and her work inspired me to apply. I was fast-tracked and booked into the studio in less than two weeks. Following this, I have received praise and affirmation from the employees and this has boosted my confidence into progressing forward.

I now want to achieve my long-forgotten dream of being in front of the camera. My shift pattern for work is four days on, four days off. I am determined to utilise my time away from work by following my long-desired aspiration of working within the modelling industry, assisting others in their creative ideas and learning the skills required to make this my main source of income.
