About Me:
Joel Lines, a multidisciplinary visual artist and recent Central Saint Martin’s graduate, specializes in conceptual fashion and performance costumes. Influenced by his artistic upbringing, he prioritizes sustainability in materials and storytelling in his work. Using a diverse range of techniques, from drawing to 3D fabrication, Joel participated in Arts Council-funded projects in his hometown of Sandown. Notably, he contributed to the ‘Hats are back!’ project, creating hats and costumes for the Sandown Regatta. Joel also showcased his sustainable fashion at the ‘Heritage’ Fashion Show, drawing inspiration from the 40s style. He often models his creations, leveraging a background in ballet, modern dance, and drama. Passionate about film and photography, he documents projects on Instagram and YouTube. Looking forward, Joel aspires to engage in work that reflects his diverse creative influences and dreams of involvement in film, modelling, commercials, and fashion.
