I am the Founder and CEO of WINGS Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that supports abused women and children. As a victim of abuse myself, I am passionate about personal development, self-care, social uplifting and spiritual counselling. I have also been trained in the United Kingdom in leadership skills and team building, currently, I serve as a spiritual motivational speaker at Fresh Fire Gospel Radio Station.
As a member of the Rape Crisis Society, I volunteer my free time and talent to take theatre in education to schools throughout Trinidad and Tobago, educating young people about respecting their bodies, and the importance of safety in numbers, saying no in uncomfortable situations, and the art of getting away. I have also been nominated as an ambassador of peace, which is a testament to my commitment to making a positive impact in my community.
As a mother of six wonderful children and a grandmother of ten, I place a high value on health and well-being, and I diligently give to charities.
