About Me:
Travel is my greatest passion in life. I am on target to hit 100 countries in four years, currently at 80. Besides traveling, I am incredibly active: a daily gym rat, I also enjoy hiking, walking and being outdoors. I am keen on environmental causes and animal welfare issues, as well as dog/cat rescue, having my own adopted chi mix from Cyprus. I’m a history fanatic, and love going to museums/galleries/historic homes/ruins. I’m an avid reader as well, going through about 40 or so books a year (and have a special talent for reading and walking at the same time). I’m a big foodie and enjoy great (and cheap!) pescatarian food. I speak Spanish and elementary French. My mother is from Ecuador and my sister and I used to go every other summer for 6 weeks from the time we were toddlers. On a personal note, my husband and I have been together for 17 years, married for 13. We were actually featured in an article in the Daily Mail, as we separated before COVID and then reunited in part due to the pandemic. I’m a born and raised New Yorker (Queens), but have lived in London for about a decade (permanent residency).
