About Me:
I am British born of Caribbean heritage. I am based in south east London. Acting/modelling has always been a passion of mine. In the early 90s I was an extra in Tube Tales, which was a low budget film on Sky. There were 9 short stories based around life on the tube. I was in the second short story called ‘Grasshopper’. I turned up as an extra on the set, but because the actress hadn’t turned up, the directors approached me and asked if I could stand in for the absent actress as I looked like her. I was very happy to do so but said as I was not professionally trained I did not want a speaking part, as they had asked me to learn two sides of A4 script within 2 hours and I did not feel confident. They said I could freestyle with my words with my onscreen boyfriend, who would be saying his lines as he was a professional actor. It was great fun. There is a certain buzz that you get with modelling and acting. I felt such a boost of confidence come over me. I was also an extra in Swing with Lisa Stansfield, which was a big screen movie based on the swinging 60s. I was a dancer in that movie. The choreography for the old school dancing was great. I was in one other series but forgot the name. I am a bubbly, fun loving person who is organised. I think on my feet and I don’t crack under pressure. I remain cool, calm and collected.
