About Me:
I grew up modelling for my Dad who is an established artist, this would often involve hours spent holding the same pose but has resulted in some amazing pieces of work. I have also participated in training videos for clients through my work in marketing. And recently completed a studio shoot as well as outdoor shoots with a number of photographers.
The studio shoot involved a number of looks ranging from sports through to every day and then evening wear. The outfits worn ranged from high street through to luxury brands, coupled with either heels or trainers. The outdoor shoot took place in November and although it was very cold, the weather added to the outcome.
I currently work for an events and production company so I’m experienced with being on fast-paced sets, understanding requirements and challenges and the need for professionalism. Added to this there is of course timeliness, and the impact that running latte can have on budgets and the general temperament of the crew involved in a shoot. Whilst it can feel as though you’re the only person in the room when in front of the camera, it is also key to remember you form part of a bigger picture and project that needs to be completed well, for the crew, brand and audience.
My look is very versatile so I can easily wear sportswear through to smart and evening wear, as shown in my images. I am of mixed heritage with short afro-curly hair which I tend to wear down, or with some up, or pulled back away from my face using a silk scarf. Each of these leads to a different look for my face, again adding versatility. I work out regularly so I am slim but toned. Workouts tend to be either kettlebell/resistance training as well as cardio, generally running and long walks.
As a 39-year-old, I am comfortable in my own skin and can take direction from photographers well, responding to positional changes easily.
