About Me:
I come from very simple beginnings and I am the second child of six. I was born in East Sussex but I now live in beautiful Derbyshire.
I’m a very young and fit person for my age. I love to be out in the countryside with my dog exploring areas (around the UK), and I especially love to see nature and wildlife. I still work full time and love what I do. Every year I aim to do something I have never done before, so I have learnt to ride a horse – even mastering jumps, learnt to ride a motorcycle and pass my test first time – I used to have a Ducati Monster 600 which I loved, I’ve also been up in a glider.
Family is important to me and I have a son and daughter, who now have families of their own, so I am a proud grandmother, who likes nothing more than playing football with my grandsons and playing all sorts of games. I love spending time with them but equally I love and am happy in my own space.
I like to keep fit and still run, not long distances but enough to keep fit. I also love yoga and last year went to my first yoga retreat which was amazing. I am a voracious reader and once I get a good book, I find it hard to put down. I am currently studying two courses and find this a good way of broadening my mind.
I absolutely love life and my outlook is life is for living, not sitting around waiting to die – get up, move and keep learning. I am a positive person, I like challenges and I would love to travel a bit more and would love a campervan.
