About Me:
I am a youthful-looking 66 and very well-travelled, thanks to my previous job as a journalist and foreign correspondent. I do occasional journalistic work as a freelancer, and I also volunteer as a tour guide in my village, which is the birthplace of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism (though I am not a Methodist myself). Additionally, I spend a lot of time fundraising for Ukraine, as I am half-Ukrainian, and the war there is quite personal for me.
I speak French, German, and Italian and can get by in a couple more languages. I’ve lived abroad in Europe and the Middle East, experiencing life in different cultures. I’m a confident person, but not overbearing, and I firmly believe in teamwork. I sing in a choir and sometimes perform with my husband. Since moving to our current home, I’ve joined an amateur dramatics group and have performed leading roles in four plays. I’m not after fame or great fortune, but modeling appeals to me as a new experience.
