About Me:
I’ve never been a model before—commercial or otherwise—but it’s something I’ve always quietly admired. I often find myself observing how people carry themselves with confidence in front of the camera or on set or on the street and I wonder what it would be like to try something completely new like that. For a long time, I’ve been curious about modelling—not just as a side job for extra income, but as a way to step out of my comfort zone and explore a different side of myself.
I was a teacher since the age of 21 in Jakarta. I’m currently a nursery teacher in West London and I truly love what I do. Every day, I get to witness young children grow, learn, and build the foundations for life. They inspire me more than they know. Watching them try new things with so much enthusiasm has made me reflect on myself—maybe it’s not too late for me to try something new, too. In a way, I feel like I’m just starting to learn how to be more confident in my own skin, especially when speaking in front of others or being seen.
I’m 49 years old, and I come from a mixed background—my mother is Chinese-Indonesian and my father is Indonesian with Dutch heritage. I believe that beauty and confidence come in many forms, and I hope that my story can reflect that, too. If given the opportunity, I’d be grateful to start modelling in a small, manageable way—maybe in commercial or lifestyle shoots. If I grow in confidence, who knows where this could lead? More than anything, I’m open to learning and discovering more about myself through this experience.
Modelling, for me, would not only provide a helpful extra source of income, but also give me the chance to reconnect with parts of myself that I haven’t fully explored. I hope this can be the beginning of something exciting and meaningful.
