About Me:
I am an IT specialist in database Management, working for 17 years for the government of Bulgaria, computerising the judicial and financial system in Bulgaria.
I relocated to the UK in 2002 during my maternity leave, following my husband’s work.
After working as an IT specialist here with Guardian newspaper and IT support with Frogmore Community College and Sixth Form College Farnborough I took a qualification in Teaching – IT and Business Lecturer in Colleges. I worked mainly for myself via agencies for 7 years.
I took a Swimming qualification for fun and additional work. I have 2 years of experience until Covid when the swimming pools were closed.
For additional family work, I am a landlord in Bulgaria and in the UK. For the last 5 years every Summer, I train the children in our closed spa hotel/apartment in Sunny Beach Bulgaria, I still teach swimming for free.
I also trained myself together with my husband in trading, until 2018, when we decided to stop and invest the money in building our wooden office at the back of our house.
I am helping as a volunteer a child of a friend of ours in reading, writing and Maths for a second year. The girl is 9 years old now and her reading and writing have improved dramatically. The parents of the girl can’t speak or write in English.
The moment I applied I got a confirmation that I would be accepted in a charity organisation in the Education system called Team Global. I am very excited to be part of this small organisation.
