Abinet Agonafer

About Me:
I am an Ethiopian from Addis Ababa who has recently moved to the UK with my British Husband and two girls.  My background is in hospitality where I worked in a number of 3 – 5* hotels in the capital city after training at the country’s principal technical college – Wingate College.
I am fit and active and looking for meaningful work to help me settle into a new culture and way of life.  I enjoy Yoga, cooking and (rather bizarrely) cleaning, all attributes which greatly please my husband.  I also enjoy swimming and hiking.  We live in rural Cambridgeshire but have good access to anywhere in the country, so I am prepared to travel for work if it helps to develop my portfolio. I am transferring my driving licence and should soon have a UK licence which will make me even more mobile.
As a family, we own a Safari Lodge in a UNESCO World Heritage Site (The Bale Mountains National Park) so I am also interested in Conservation and helping to protect my beautiful country which is very different from what most British people think it is like.  Running a lodge in a remote location, 65km from the nearest town, is a real challenge but has provided us with some really interesting experiences; my husband even has a moth and a frog named after him (Pracynasima Levenorum & Ptchadyna Leveneorum)
