About Me:
I’m a very driven, curious and expressive person who enjoys challenging myself, learning new things and putting myself outside my comfort zone. I was born in Malaysia while my parents were posted there with the Royal Air Force, so from the very beginning, my life has been connected to the military and to experiencing different environments and cultures.
I’m incredibly proud of my own background in the Royal Navy, and I feel that my service has shaped my personality greatly. It has taught me discipline, resilience, commitment and the importance of working well with others. I’m someone who takes pride in what I do and sets high standards for myself. At the same time, I’ve learnt the importance of being approachable, professional and able to take direction – qualities that I feel are equally important when working as part of a creative team.
Sport has also always been an important part of my life. I enjoy all types of sport and particularly like being actively involved rather than simply watching from the sidelines. I actively play both indoor and outdoor bowls, enjoy darts and umpire for cricket at fixtures locally. Being involved in these different sports has given me opportunities to meet a wide range of people, work as a team, compete, communicate and remain focused.
My interest in modelling and being photographed comes from enjoying the way an image can communicate something without words. I like the idea of working with photographers, stylists, directors and creative teams to create different moods, characters and stores whilst being able to bring in my own personality and presence to the work. For me, it isn’t simply about being in front of a camera – it’s about understanding what the camera is asking for and being able to adapt.
I am proud of my personal achievements and excited by the possibility of bringing those qualities into a completely different creative environment.
