About Me:
I’m Julie King, based in York and originally from York UK.
I’m returning to modelling after first giving it a go over 25 years ago. It’s been exciting to step back in front of the camera, and I’ve really enjoyed discovering how much confidence and fun it brings me now.
Alongside modelling, I run my own holistic healing business. Working with people has taught me to be open, adaptable and comfortable meeting someone new, which I bring with me to a shoot. I enjoy working with photographers and hearing their ideas, whether the brief calls for something natural and relaxed or a more dramatic look.
I’m interested in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and creative photography, and I’m keen to explore different types of modelling as I build my portfolio. I’m happy to take direction, try new ideas and put in the work to get the shot right. I also bring my own personality and life experience, which I think can add something to an image.
Coming back to modelling has reminded me that it’s never too late to do something you’ve always wanted to try. I’m looking forward to meeting creative people, learning along the way and seeing where this new chapter takes me.
