About Me:
I am a confident, fun-loving, professional women stepping into an exciting new chapter of my life, post-divorce. As challenging as this period of my life has been, I have embraced my independence and feel a new sense of empowerment. Having spent over 30 years as a devoted, military wife and mother, I’m now welcoming fresh opportunities and new challenges with energy and enthusiasm and finally prioritising me. Having spent much of my adult life away from home on the Wirral due to military lifestyle, it’s been refreshing to be based back at home with my family around me. I can now travel for these new ventures and for my own personal goals and fulfilment.
As a senior leader within an NHS aseptic unit, my days are grounded in precision, responsibility, and purpose, overseeing the manufacture of vital injectable medicines that support some of the most vulnerable patients. It is a role that demands resilience, decisiveness, and often a traditionally masculine management energy—qualities I’ve cultivated with pride and dedication. Yet, as I step into a new chapter of my life, I feel a powerful pull to reconnect with my femininity, to soften the edges of structure and allow myself the freedom to grow beyond the confines of a strict workplace. I want to challenge myself, to embrace discomfort as a catalyst for change, and to live more expansively. Most importantly, I want to show my daughter that age is never a barrier—it is simply a number—and that courage, reinvention, and ambition are always within reach. I am a strong-minded, independent 53-year-old woman who has taken charge of her life, and now I’m ready to step forward boldly, unapologetically, and fully into who I am becoming.
This journey has brought out a renewed sense of independence and strength in me, along with a deeper confidence and acceptance in who I am. I am proud of my body and the skin I’m in, as it tells my story. I’m passionate about living life to the fullest, celebrating my individuality and I am excited about what the future holds.
