SHANGHAI DISNEY RESORT – OPEN CALL AUDITIONS FOR VOCALISTS

Shanghai Disney Resort is seeking musical theatre performers/vocalists to portray lead characters from Disney films, including Moana, The Princess and the Frog, Frozen, and Tangled.

Requirements:

• Strong storytelling ability with a dynamic singing voice, showcasing vocal and emotional range.

• Acting experience, strong movement skills, and expressive stage presence.

• Vocalist performers will be featured in stage shows and may participate in special events.

✔ Prepare 16 bars of a vocal selection (bring sheet music for accompaniment).
✔ Choose a song that showcases your storytelling ability and natural connection to the material.
✔ Bring two copies of your CV and headshot/photo.
✔ Be prepared for a potential movement combination (wear comfortable clothing and shoes).
✔ Callbacks may take place on the same day—bring appropriate attire.

Contract Details:

📌 Must be 18 years or older to be contracted.
📌 Performers must be ready to relocate to Shanghai, China, for the contract duration.
📌 Contracts may begin mid to late 2025 and last approximately 7 months.
📌 Passport requirement: Valid until September 30, 2026, or beyond.

Shanghai Disney Resort is also seeking performers with acting and movement skills to portray Character Look-Alikes from popular Disney films.

🎬 Seeking performers to portray characters from:
✔ Avengers, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Black Widow, Brave, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Cinderella, Doctor Strange, Frozen, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Little Mermaid, Moana, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Princess and the Frog, Raya and the Last Dragon, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Tangled, Thor, and 101 Dalmatians.

Requirements:

✔ Strong acting and movement skills.
✔ Imaginative improvisation is a plus.
✔ Look-alike performers will be featured in stage shows, parades, meet-and-greets, and special events.
