About Me:
Born in Thornton, Bradford, I grew up in Bradford and moved to Leeds in November 1977, where I have lived ever since. I am the youngest of 12 children and started learning music from an early age.
I left school at 16 and played guitar in various bands. We eventually signed to After Hours Records in 1982 and released our first single. During the 1980s I worked as a session bass player and played on TV ads of the time. I have also appeared as an extra in television and film, and worked as an international touring engineer. I still play in local bands to this day.
From 1992 to 2001 I owned a Jaguar and Rolls-Royce specialist garage. I have also worked in amateur filmmaking as a presenter, and have written two film scripts and children’s stories. Both films were eyed by Channel 4 Films and the BBC, but neither went into production.
I am fit and healthy with no health issues. As a hobby I restore Jaguar cars at home in my workshop and drive them to shows. I feel unfulfilled and haven’t yet found “my thing,” but I am still actively seeking it.
