About Me:
I am originally from Bermuda and am currently based in Preston, Lancashire. My career to date has primarily centred around administrative work, where I have developed strong communication, organisational and people skills. However, I have always been curious about the creative world of fashion, television, film, music, and entertainment.
For many years, I have watched adverts, television programmes, films and music videos and wondered what it would be like to be part of that world. I often thought, “Maybe I could do that!” but, like many people, I let self-doubt hold me back and questioned whether I really had what it took.
Over the past couple of years, I have also made some significant changes in my own life. I have lost approximately 30kg through a personal lifestyle transformation, going from around 84kg at my heaviest to approximately 54kg today. More importantly than the physical change, the experience has taught me a great deal about discipline, resilience and self-belief. It has also made me realise that I don’t want to spend my life wondering “What if?” I would rather step outside my comfort zone and find out what I am capable of.
That mindset shift encouraged me to explore opportunities in the creative industry. I am enthusiastic, reliable, adaptable and comfortable working with different people. I take direction well and understand the importance of professionalism, punctuality, and adapting to a production’s needs.
Although I have no formal acting experience, I have always wondered whether I could play a small scripted role. I would therefore be interested in being considered for opportunities involving short scripts or small speaking parts. I am curious to see what I can do and would approach the opportunity with preparation, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
I am particularly interested in supporting artist work, television, film, commercials, fashion, lifestyle, print, promotional work and real-person casting. I enjoy variety and would welcome the opportunity to experience different environments, characters and situations.
I am at a point in my life where I am choosing to be brave enough to try, rather than letting self-doubt make the decision for me. I don’t know exactly where this new chapter will take me, but I am excited to find out. After all, there is only one way to discover what you are capable of – give it a go. No looking back.
