About Me:
Hi, I am Ged, a gregarious guy who is also content to be on a desolate beach or mountain. I’m easy to get along with, have a GSOH, and live by the mantra “it’s nice to be nice.” I enjoy nature and the outdoors and am passionate about keeping fit and music. On the music side, I was the lead singer in a punk band in the late 70s and early 80s, and played support to some iconic bands such as The Clash, The Only Ones and The Fall. I have also made TV appearances and wrote the music score for an episode of the documentary World in Action. I like art and all genres of music, as well as playing my guitar. I also enjoy travelling and getting about in my camper van. I live in Lancaster, Lancashire, and have been here all my life, apart from a period living and working in Germany and the Channel Islands in the 80s. I am an hour from the cities of Manchester and Liverpool, with easy access to London and Glasgow on the main West Coast line.
