About Me:
I am from and currently live in North West England. I’m a retired professional aviator looking to explore new avenues and broaden my horizons in areas I haven’t ventured into before.
I’m at an age where I now say “yes” to things rather than “no”, and your opportunity to enter this world genuinely fascinates me. I’m excited by the possibilities that may lie ahead.
I’m a stable extrovert and am willing to have a go at most things. I used to be a bit of an adrenaline junkie and took part in a wide range of sports to a competent level, including scuba diving, parachuting, mountaineering, skiing, orienteering, cycle touring, and target shooting (definitely not animals or birds), to name just a few.
I served for over 25 years in the RAF and have toured the world extensively.
I’m a specialist in winter and jungle environments, having spent 11 winters in Norway and three and a half years in Borneo. I’m very comfortable in uncomfortable weather.
I’ve been told I have a good speaking voice and am confident addressing audiences of over a hundred people — something I still do regularly.
I have a keen interest in history, particularly classical art and sculpture, and I love Florence, Italy.
I would be happy to try anything in any category. As ex-RAF, anything military-oriented would be ideal, but I can adapt myself to almost any role or situation.
I’d be very happy to work as a film or programme extra — the 23rd Roman soldier from the left, so to speak.
All in all, I relish the thought of what you, as the Casting Director, might consider me for. In return, I can promise that I will try hard and give you my very best.
I respond very well to direction and instruction.
