About Me:
I am a Northern-born woman with a lifelong connection to the North of England, originally from Manchester and now living in Thackley on the border of Bradford and Leeds. I have been married for 47 years and am a proud mother of three and grandmother to six grandchildren aged between 2 and 15.

My professional background is in healthcare, where I enjoyed a long and varied career. I began work as a microbiologist and progressed through roles including Senior Laboratory Technician, Technical Author for medical software, Governance Administrator and Quality Manager. In my 40s I returned to higher education and achieved a 2:1 degree in Biosciences and Health. I am now retired and keen to embrace new challenges.

I lead an active and creative lifestyle. I have been a member of Rock Choir for 15 years, performing at prestigious venues including Birmingham NEC, with a recording session at Abbey Road Studios planned for June 2026. My husband and I enjoy jive dancing, I am currently learning line dancing, and we regularly attend 1940s festivals, embracing vintage fashion and styling.
