About Me:
Originally from the north east of England but now based in Altrincham in the greater Manchester area, I am an enthusiastic, friendly individual who is passionate about life in all it’s fabulous forms. I love grasping new opportunities and enjoy living in the moment. My interests are varied and creative. They include dressmaking (I made my own wedding dress and that of my sister and one of my friends), baking as a hobby business, and in 2021 I trained to be a chocolatier. I also enjoy walking , socialising and travelling whenever we can. Some of my time is taken up in volunteering activities – I bake for a charity called Free Cakes for Kids and we make bespoke cakes for children whom otherwise may not be able to have one due to family circumstances, I am chair of governors for a local primary school, have been an active scout leader and active member of parent-teacher associations raising funds for a variety of causes. I have spent many happy years performing in choirs and in amateur dramatic productions. In addition, by profession, I am a very experienced trainer / facilitator so I really enjoy being in front of people, am comfortable being photographed and would very much like to experience the modelling world. As a child I did a little modelling and one of the photographers won a national competition with a portrait he took of me – it was very exciting! Last, and very much not least, I am very family oriented with two wonderful sons in their twenties and love to spend time with them and my husband. Two years ago, unexpectedly I had a quadruple heart bypass which was very successful and has given me a whole new lease on life leading me to really want to try new things and am committed to getting the best from every experience.
