I enjoy reading a variety of books (mainly novels) and magazines, as well as newspapers, ranging from international affairs to fashion magazines and nature.
FAVOURITE MUSIC:
I listen to music every day, whenever I can. I very much like all genres of music and listen depending on my mood of the moment. My all-time favourites include The Beatles, Pink Floyd, REM, Rolling Stones, The Strokes, Kylie Minogue, U2, Debussy, Chopin, Beethoven, Einaudi, Mussorgsky…also some jazz and world music – the list is endless…

INTERESTS AND HOBBIES:
I have quite a few! I especially enjoy art and photographic exhibitions, be they classic or contemporary and find they are so much better shared – of course there must be time for the post mortem over tea and cake or a glass of wine. I am equally happy indoors or out and very fond of long rambles in the countryside and treks along the beach whatever the weather in good company. Running, swimming and cycling re-energise me and I intend to be back on the slopes after a break very soon! I love travelling. My ideal holiday is blending sightseeing or trekking with activities, culture, music, reading and relaxation. For me travelling is about discovering other cultures and new experiences.
