About Me:
I am a born and bred Londoner, and growing up in London, clothing, fashion, and music came together and played a big part in shaping my identity during my younger days.
When Ska became big in late 1979, I would dress as a rude boy, wearing Ben Sherman sta press trousers as well as Fred Perry shirts and brogues, and this style still influences my choice in clothing to this day.
During the 80s and early 90s, I played the bass guitar in a band and really enjoyed performing.
Two of my other interests are sports and politics. I have previously played football and cricket to a reasonable level, and fitness, health, and diet are still important factors in looking your best. I am also interested in cooking, being able to cook a number of dishes from various cuisines.
Other skills include a talent for voices. I have a strong voice and can mimic all the regional British accents and a number of foreign accents. I am a good dancer and have an eclectic taste in music.
I also have good communication and personal skills. Being a London cab driver, these are essential to the job, which also gives me flexibility regarding work as I am self-employed.
I now live with my partner of 35 years and our two grown-up sons.
