I come from a very creative background, I have worked as a photographer for over 30 years both in press work and freelance PR, Commercial and Social photography and still carry out assignments and specialise these days in dark black and white character portraits. With my rich Photographic background
I see modelling imagery from both a photographic artistic standpoint as well as a lifestyle influenced way. I am a voice actor working mainly in Audio drama and Audiobook narration, I love creating new characters with the help of a plethora of accents and impressions to choose from. My natural voice has a calm, comforting, friendly and sexy tone. but I can turn my hand to any accent or voice required including across the ages.
I have a strong interest in theatre and film, with particular attention within the film genre to the works of Wes Anderson and Edgar Wright, both producing such visually stunning pieces and in Wes Andersons case, each frame of film is a piece of art worthy of hanging on a wall, pause any film he does and you’ll see what I mean.
I also love comedy , my comedic influences include the writings of Victoria Wood, Fry and Laurie, Mitchell and Webb, Catherine Tate, Jennifer Saunders and sketch show productions such as Big Train and The Fast show. I am a huge advocate for stand up comedy and go
and see plenty of acts whenever i can.
I deeply admire and covet the works of Alan Bennet; namely his Talking Heads series which is a combination of poignancy and humour. The dialogue rich scripts are deeply impressive and are incapsulating, Each character is so complex and rich and I have been involved in recent projects and helped produce a Talking Heads influenced series of audio monologues. I enjoy audio drama and have been heavily involved in the production of some recent projects and taken on characters in many of late too.
