About Me:
I have always been very creative and love to find ways to express complex ideas through various mediums. I am a long-time musician, having played piano for over 10 years and percussion for 8, achieving classical grades (grade 7 and 8 respectively) in both. I find a lot of fulfilment in photography and modelling, and really enjoy being both behind and in front of the camera. I am ethnically Colombian-Japanese and love to explore both cultures through music, photography, and fashion. I believe strongly in the very unique ways that music, dance, and photography are able to invoke such strong emotions, and it is a passion of mine to be able to harness this through my own creativity. I was also previously a dedicated swimmer, competing at national level, and now teach swimming part-time. I am currently based in Nottingham for most of the year as I am a first-year student studying Environmental Engineering at the University of Nottingham. Outside of university term time, I am based in Woking, Surrey. I believe that the conservation of the global environment and the sustainable use of the Earth’s resources are vital, now more than ever, to ensure our planet is protected for the future. I chose my degree for this reason, in the hope that I can participate in changing the way we operate for a stable future for both humans and the rest of the Earth.
