About Me:
I am a 54 year old plus size lady, single mother of twin boys age 15, another boy age 13 and I am a p/t school teacher and SEN tutor. I believe that I have the capacity and skills as well as the personality that is ideal for this sort of work. I am a very confident, bubbly, life loving, giving, kind, generous and extremely flexible, patient as well as resilient person with a fabulous sense of humour who enjoys lighting up a room and cheering up any situation as well as getting to know new people from all walks of life.
My boys are becoming more and more independent and their father, who lives close by, is also flexible so I should be able to attend castings or interviews relatively easily (with a little bit of notice of course). I also work 10 hrs at a local school on Wednesdays and Fridays (starting again in September), besides that and a couple of other tutoring jobs I have after school hours a couple of days a week, I can fit a lot in between and am very eager and motivated to start on this exciting journey with Choice agency.
I have wished to do such work/activities for a long time but have never really had the opportunity or time until now. I am also multi talented in many areas such as acting
(I have experience acting in plays at University or when I was quite young through school and Drama clubs and attended a now very popular Improv class in London some years ago), I love reading (I would really enjoy doing Audiobook recordings or any voiceover work and have been told I have a great voice for this), I love singing (I have been singing as a Mezzo Soprano in choirs for many years and my current choir, Coastal Choir, performs regularly to raise money for different charities locally). I love writing too, (I have enjoyed writing and teaching reading/writing for many years now, I am perfectly bilingual in French and English and have also often been told that my writing is very entertaining to read). I am and always have been an all round Artist, I sometimes exhibit my photography and paintings in local exhibitions and sell in local galleries and shops.
