About Me:
I’m Jess, a veterinary surgeon working in the field of veterinary technology, where I’m involved in developing innovative diagnostic solutions for animals. I have international experience and a strong interest in combining science with real-world applications to improve animal health.
Outside of work, I enjoy activities that involve nature, fitness, and creativity. I’m passionate about sailing and have taken part in competitive races. I also enjoy hiking, cooking, exercising, and singing in a choir.
In addition to my professional interests, I volunteer to support students pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
A few years ago, I set myself a personal challenge to avoid buying new clothing, aside from essentials. Since then, I’ve embraced second-hand fashion through vintage markets and resale platforms. It’s become a fun and sustainable way to engage with fashion, and I encourage others to explore it as well.
