About Me:
I spent 18 years teaching Design Technology and PE, mentoring young people, including those in pupil referral units. My passion has always been to inspire confidence, whether in the classroom or through sport. In 2016, a spinal injury and subsequent surgery changed everything. Recovery was tough, but through discipline and resilience, I fought my way back to full fitness, reshaping my approach to training. In 2017, I left teaching to focus on fitness, founding HIITBEAT Studio. My background in education and mentorship shapes my approach, making training accessible and empowering. Now, as I train for Hyrox 2025, I continue to push my limits, inspiring others, including my son, who recently competed in his first event—to believe in their strength and overcome obstacles.
