About Me:
I am a professional creative executive with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors—locally as a councillor, and nationally and internationally through business. With 32 years in the aerospace industry, I have led and developed national centres, technology departments, and worked closely with governments, trade bodies, embassies, and various organizations.
Currently, I run two small start-ups, including The Frome International Climate Film Festival, where sustainability and ethical sourcing are core values.
Creative and innovative, I write books, organize events, and thrive in collaborative team environments. I am open, inclusive, and passionate about diversity and equal opportunities, having served on the board of a Women’s Charter.
An active and sporty individual, I am a weight trainer, runner, and walker, as well as a qualified fitness instructor and masseur. I can play most sports and have even been a British Champion motorcycle hill climber on racetracks.
I am a caring, approachable, and fun-loving person. As a parent of four, I strongly believe in fairness and will always speak up against conflict or bullying. I treat everyone with respect—every role matters, and no one is more important than anyone else.
