About Me:
Born and grew up in New Zealand, from a rural background. I worked as a Museum/Gallery curator and coordinator and for a short time as a High school Art teacher. I came to the UK to see a bit more of the other side of the planet. Initially intended staying for two or three years but that has turned out to be 16 years. I am now a UK citizen, living and working here happily. I do return home regularly to see friends and family and to swim and be beside the ocean.

I am interested in people, their art and their cultures and have travelled a lot since moving here. Being creative and a lateral thinker I rarely get bored and although I have many friends I enjoy a lot of time to myself.

Getting older has given me acceptance and patience and a calm outlook to life. I want to encourage people not to be worried about big age numbers, just to change what you can and appreciate you have been given the chance of spending a longer time here.

I am a positive person and I would like to encourage people to stop looking at the wrinkles and saggy bits. We cannot be younger than the years we are given. I value honesty and compassion and am willing to try new things.
