About Me:
My name is Plamen Barakov, and I was born and raised in Bulgaria. I moved to the UK about nine years ago and have since developed my skills as a car mechanic, with a particular passion for Japanese cars. Back in Bulgaria, I was deeply passionate about mountain biking, participating in races, events, and even securing commercial sponsorships. The thrill of competition and the adventure of exploring rugged trails fueled my love for the sport, and it remains an essential part of who I am. However, due to a knee injury, I was unable to continue down this path.
I am driven by variety and constantly seek new challenges and goals to keep myself engaged. I believe that every day should offer new experiences, skills, and knowledge. Learning new techniques and pushing my limits is part of my nature—I’m always striving to be the best in whatever I do, whether it’s in sports, hobbies, or my work.
While I don’t limit myself to a single hobby, I explore a wide range of interests and try everything that comes my way. I believe in learning something about everything, which has led me to try nearly every sport and hobby I encounter. However, two things I could do endlessly without tiring are fishing and working on vehicles, as they provide me with a unique sense of focus and fulfillment.
My motto evolves over time, but it always revolves around one powerful word: “GREED.” I view “greed” not in a negative sense, but as a motivating force to want everything life has to offer and to put in the effort to make it happen. For me, being “greedy” means pursuing my dreams and pushing myself to reach my fullest potential.
