My name is Odera Nweke, I’m 20 years old, from Nigeria and I’m currently a Civil Engineering undergraduate.
Modelling is a way I express my creativity and confidence. It makes me feel like I’m in my own world and I live by my own rules alone. I’ve always had an interest in keeping fit and looking good so I started going to the gym at 16, telling the trainers ‘I’ll soon be 18’ when they ask for my age so they allow me in. I believe variety is the spice of life hence I try to not come up with the same poses or expressions in a photoshoot.
I believe I can make simple outfits look dapper with the help of my good physique, posture and grooming.
I like fashion and attires for different occasions like casual, corporate, party & swim wear but I have a soft spot for street wear and hope to model for the likes of JD, Nike, Sports Direct, Urban Outfitters etc.
I went to my first photoshoot because I thought it would be a nice experience and I had what it takes to start a modelling career. After the shoot, I got asked if it was my first shoot and was told by different people that I did excellently for a first shoot.
I hope to become a successful model and I will definitely put in my best if I’m given the platform as it’s something I enjoy so much already.
