Arms wide open! I’m Melissa Blake, the creator of Knotted Locs, a revolutionary technique for small size locs. I specialise in knotting small locs for curly hairs, extending the time between maintenance, and empowering clients with hair confidence.
With my children growing more independent and my 2025 new found freedom, I am embracing modeling as my exciting next chapter!
I am excited to explore the world of modeling. I want to represent vibrant, grey haired, locs wearing, 50 something women who are full of energy, aspirations, and purpose. My beautiful is self-acceptance, authenticity, and continued growth. My locs and my team focused energy are part of what makes me unique.

Beyond my work, I am trying to read more, I am a creative soul (I crochet & paint wooden earrings), I am an energy who swims, walks, stretches, and even hula hoops! I believe in movement especially at my tender age. 😉
As a model, I bring professionalism, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. I am a hands on team player, solution driven, and passionate about creating long-standing, impactful collaborations. My love for fashion is rooted in creativity and diversity. I embrace color, movement, structure, and layering to create versatile looks.
