About Me:
My key interests are travel, family, and friends. I enjoy working in the garden and growing my own vegetables and fruit. I am very fit and active and work out several times a week. I have completed six London Marathons and have climbed Kilimanjaro, Ben Nevis, Snowdon, and Mount Kinabalu in Borneo.
I am a retired nurse, but I volunteer for London Ambulance Services, Parkinson’s UK, research groups, and the local Safer Neighbourhood team. Until December, I also volunteered at a major A&E department.
Since the 2012 Olympic Games in London, I have volunteered for Team London at major events.
I consider myself confident without being false, a people person who enjoys new challenges. I always need things to look forward to, such as a holiday, a challenge, meeting new people, or pushing myself further. I recently started doing the weekly 5k run in the park.
