About Me:
I am a former radio presenter, with an extensive history in the entertainment industry, working with film, television and theatre during my years, but its my passion for boxing and combat sports that has brought most notoriety by hosting the Big Hype Podcast and also as a licensed Master of Ceremonies for the British Boxing Board of Control, a role that sees me travel extensively throughout the UK and internationally to officiate at boxing events.
My experience as a Master of Ceremonies for the BBBoC has further honed my public speaking, presentation, and event management skills. I am comfortable addressing large audiences and ensuring the smooth and professional execution of boxing events. This role, alongside my podcasting work, demonstrates my deep immersion and active involvement in the boxing community. I was also a finalist in a national competition seeking a new master of ceremonies for Sky Sports and Matchroom Boxing.
As the driving force behind the Big Hype Podcast, I have the privilege of engaging in insightful conversations with a diverse range of individuals within the sport. Through these interviews, I aim to bring compelling stories and perspectives to our audience, providing a deeper understanding of the dedication, challenges, and triumphs within this demanding discipline.
My work at Voice of the Vale and as a BBBoC Master of Ceremonies showcases my commitment to the sport and my ability to connect with individuals at all levels. I am enthusiastic about local government, investing and my family. My dedication to both Voice of the Vale and my responsibilities with the British Boxing Board of Control make me an efficient time manager and experienced at diversification.
