About Me:
I am a 77-year-old wife and mother, currently living life in reverse. I have spent most of my life in the Yorkshire area but recently (in 2018) returned from Cyprus after 11 years abroad.

My work experience has been incredibly varied, including roles as a dancer, nurse, promotional worker, Redcoat, and receptionist. Upon returning to my hometown, I became involved in the regeneration of my community. Through this work, I was sent to college, where it was suggested that I apply to university. At the age of 60, I began studying a dual honours degree in Archaeology and Biblical Studies. During my studies, I spent two summers excavating in Israel—one of the most memorable experiences of my life. This also gave me the opportunity to collaborate with several universities on excavations in Cyprus.

After returning to England, my husband and I decided to travel as much as possible, ticking items off our bucket list. We have explored America, Hawaii, the West Indies and Caribbean, as well as most of Europe. We’ve had incredible adventures in China and India, and this year, we visited the Arctic, eventually making our way to Brazil. A few weeks ago, I was thrilled to complete my bucket list with a visit to Cappadocia, staying in a cave hotel.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading (especially history), listening to music, swimming, and participating in burlesque.
