About Me:
My heroine Audrey Hepburn once said, ‘The word impossible contains ‘I’m possible.’
My life is a testament to that.
At first glance, my backstory may seem sad, but we all get dealt life cards—it’s what we do with them that counts. That’s what shapes us.
After modeling in France at 20-21, graduating from Exeter University with a 2:1 degree in French and History (I am fluent in French), and spending a year working in marketing and PR at Condé Nast magazines, I got married at 23. My world then seemed to “pause.”
For the next 20 years, I was gradually shut off from the world—silenced and buried. There were horrific and frightening times, but thanks to my four children, we experienced magic, mischief, and fun, especially during his long absences.
I eventually started a business providing therapies for children and young adults with autism and other neurodivergences.
This work led me to become an author, an award-winning therapist, a teacher, trainer, prolific public and motivational speaker, passionate advocate, dedicated educator, and charity ambassador. I’ve also won national awards and been featured multiple times on BBC Radio, national press, and in magazines.
I even have my own YouTube channel.
I’m no stranger to public life.
However, my 23-year-old self was never stopped—she was only paused. Thankfully, I have an indomitable spirit of hope and a wicked sense of humor, which got me through!
That 23-year-old never let the light from my modeling path dim.
Now that my children are grown, it’s time for a new chapter.
A chapter for me.
When I find time for hobbies, I write, perform, and songwrite voraciously. I adore music, dancing, and wild swimming. I’m also a great mimic with a range of accents and have participated in local plays and productions since I was 18, right up to the present day.
